# Why does my available budget change after booking?

Because the booked campaign amount is **reserved**.
Until the campaign is **marked as reimbursed**, that amount cannot be used for other campaigns.

### How budget reservation works
When you book a campaign:
* the planned amount is **reserved** from your available budget
* the reserved amount is **temporarily locked**
* it is excluded from what you can spend on new campaigns
This reservation remains active throughout the campaign and reimbursement process.

### When the budget becomes available again
The reserved amount is released only when:
* the campaign reimbursement is **completed and marked as rejected**
Until then, the budget remains unavailable for other use.

### Important to know
* Budget reservation is automatic
* Reserved budget does not mean it has been paid yet
* Reservation ensures the budget is protected for the booked campaign
* If reimbursement is rejected, the reserved amount is not reimbursed
