What is a special event campaign?

A special event campaign is a type of special campaign used for one-time or non-standard events that cannot be created using regular templates.

When to use a special event campaign

Use a special event campaign when you are advertising:

  • a local or one-time event
  • a special promotion or activation
  • an offline activity (e.g. event sponsorship, radio, OOH)
  • any campaign that does not fit available templates

These campaigns are typically event-specific and time-bound.

How special event campaigns work

  • The campaign is registered as a special campaign
  • Materials are prepared outside the platform
  • Campaign details are entered during booking
  • The campaign usually requires manual approval
  • Reimbursement is handled through the standard reimbursement flow

The platform manages tracking, approvals, and reimbursement — not creative production.

Important to know

  • Approval requirements may be stricter
  • Review timelines may be longer than template-based campaigns
