What happens if my payment method fails?
If your payment method fails, the system will retry the charge several times.
If the charge still cannot be completed, the ongoing campaign will be paused.
How this works
- The platform attempts to charge the linked payment method automatically
- If the charge fails:
- the system retries the payment multiple times
- If all retries fail:
- the online campaign is paused
- spending is stopped to prevent further charges
What you should do
If your campaign is paused due to payment failure:
- update or fix your payment method
- ensure sufficient funds are available
- once payment is resolved, the campaign can be continued
Important to know
- Payment retries are automatic
- Campaign pausing happens only after repeated failures
- Paused campaigns do not continue spending
- Billing issues affect online campaigns only
