# What does Pending approval mean?

**Pending approval** means your campaign or reimbursement is currently waiting for review — and no final decision has been made yet.

### Where it fits in the campaign lifecycle
In the booked campaign flow, “Pending approval” usually maps to one of these review stages:
* **Ad template review pending**
Your campaign includes a **custom ad template**, and it’s waiting for template approval.
* **Reimbursement review pending**
You uploaded documentation (proof of action), and the reimbursement request is waiting for review.

### What happens next
The reviewer can take one of these actions:
* **Approve**
    * Template approval → campaign moves to **Needs proof of action**
    * Reimbursement approval → moves to **Awaiting reimbursement**
* **Request more information**
    * Status becomes **Info requested**
    * You upload missing information and resubmit
* **Reject**
    * Template rejection → **Ad template rejected** (campaign becomes **rejected**)
    * Reimbursement rejection → **Reimbursement rejected** (campaign becomes **rejected**)

### Important to know
* After you upload documentation:
    * If nothing is missing → status becomes **Reimbursement review pending**
    * If something is missing → status becomes **Info requested**
* Final payment happens only after approval, when the request is marked as paid and becomes **Reimbursed – completed**
