What does Pending approval mean?

Pending approval means your campaign or reimbursement is currently waiting for review — and no final decision has been made yet.

Where it fits in the campaign lifecycle

In the booked campaign flow, “Pending approval” usually maps to one of these review stages:

  • Ad template review pending

Your campaign includes a custom ad template, and it’s waiting for template approval.

  • Reimbursement review pending

You uploaded documentation (proof of action), and the reimbursement request is waiting for review.

What happens next

The reviewer can take one of these actions:

  • Approve
    • Template approval → campaign moves to Needs proof of action
    • Reimbursement approval → moves to Awaiting reimbursement
  • Request more information
    • Status becomes Info requested
    • You upload missing information and resubmit
  • Reject
    • Template rejection → Ad template rejected (campaign becomes rejected)
    • Reimbursement rejection → Reimbursement rejected (campaign becomes rejected)

Important to know

  • After you upload documentation:
    • If nothing is missing → status becomes Reimbursement review pending
    • If something is missing → status becomes Info requested
  • Final payment happens only after approval, when the request is marked as paid and becomes Reimbursed – completed
