# What does “Draft” mean?

**Draft** means the campaign is **not finished yet** and has **not been submitted** for review or approval.

### What a Draft campaign is
A campaign in **Draft** status:
* is still being created or configured
* has not entered any approval or review flow
* is visible only to users with access to the Channel Partner account
* does not reserve budget
* does not trigger any reimbursement process
Nothing is submitted while the campaign is in Draft.

### What you can do in Draft
While a campaign is in Draft status, you can:
* edit campaign details
* change selected templates or channels
* update text, variables, or settings
* save and return later
* submit the campaign when ready

### What happens next
* Once you submit the campaign, it **leaves Draft status**
* The campaign then moves to the next relevant status (e.g. assets review pending)

### Important to know
* Draft campaigns have **no impact** on budget or approvals
* Drafts can be deleted without consequences
* Other users cannot review or approve a Draft
