Why is budget reserved before approval?

Budget is reserved to prevent the same amount from being used in multiple campaigns.

How budget reservation works

When a campaign is booked:

• the campaign amount is reserved immediately
• reserved budget cannot be used for other campaigns
• the remaining balance is still available to spend

This ensures budget is not overspent.

What you can still do

Even with reserved budget:

• you can create and book other campaigns
• you can use the remaining available balance
• only the reserved amount is locked

When reserved budget is released

Reserved budget is freed when:

• the campaign is rejected

Until one of these happens, the reserved amount remains locked.

Important to know

• Reservation happens before approval
• Reserved budget does not mean reimbursement is guaranteed
• Reservation is automatic and cannot be manually overridden
• Reserved budget is not available for reuse until released
