# Does rejected reimbursement release budget?

Yes.
If a reimbursement is **rejected**, the **reserved budget is released** and becomes available again.

### How this works
* When a campaign is booked, its amount is **reserved**
* If the reimbursement request is **rejected**:
    * the reserved budget is **freed**
    * the amount returns to your **available balance**
You can then use this budget for other campaigns.

### Important to know
* Budget release happens automatically
* No manual action is required
* Released budget can be reused immediately
* Rejected reimbursements are final and cannot be resubmitted
