# Can I run ads without connecting social accounts?

It depends on the platform.
* **Yes** — for **Google Ads**
* **No** — for other platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram)

### How this works by platform
### Google
* You **can** run Google ads without connecting a social media account
* Google campaigns are handled separately from social account connections
* A valid payment method is still required

### Other platforms (e.g. social media)
* You **must connect** your social media account
* Account connection is required to:
    * publish ads
    * manage delivery
* Without connection, ads cannot be launched on these platforms

### Important to know
* Platform requirements are enforced automatically
* If a platform requires account connection, it will be prompted during setup
* If a channel is visible but blocked, missing connections are usually the reason

### What to do if ads are blocked
* Check **Account Settings → Integrations**
* Connect the required platform account
* Make sure a payment method is linked
